MILO Cricket
The MILO Have-A-Go program is a fun, introductory cricket program for girls and boys aged 5 - 10 years. The program runs on Sundays for 9 weeks from Sunday 9th November with a break for the Melbourne Cup weekend. Each session commences at 10.00am and concludes at 11.30am and is run out of Domeney Reserve.
The aim of the program is to introduce children to cricket skills and activities in a structured manner, with an emphasis on fun. The program covers a range of fundamental motor skills important to childhood development - hitting a ball, catching, throwing, running, stopping, balance and co-ordination. In addition it involves important social skills including teamwork, co-operation, communication, and learning how to approach winning and losing.
