Australia Day Celebration - Tuesday 26th January

The POCC Junior Twenty20 kicks off the Australia Day entertainment. Combining U12 and U14 players & dads/adult partner - POCC Reds face off against the POCC Blacks. The game begins at 1.30pm, so come along and enjoy the fun. More details are available on the POCC Website.

2010 Cricket - part two of Season 09/10

POCC Club cricket resumes Friday 29th/Saturday 30th January for all grades.
The first game on these dates will be a One Day Match for the U12, U14 & U16 teams.

Training will start this week for some teams depending on your coach's availability. Coaches will communicate about training, so please check your emails.

 

POCC Players in the District Rep Carnival

Congratulations to Lionel Hunt & Tom Macrokanis who played in the VMCU Cricket Carnival over the past 2 weeks. Their U12 team finished 7th out of a field of 14 teams playing in the Keith MItchell Shield competition. Teams finishing 5th-8th on the ladder played off for the Keith Mitchell Cup.
BHRDCA
won their GRAND FINAL in the Keith Mitchell Cup. Well done to Lionel and Tom, each took a great catch in the final match.

Special mention to
Aaron Cockram for returning promptly from his holidays when he was called up to play for the BHRDCA U14 Squad. Together with
Brandon Perriam they contested the VMCU U14 Russell Allen Shield competition over the past 2 weeks finishing 7th out of a field of 14 teams.

Jason Kreskas in Box Hill Cricket Club U15 Hatch Squad has 3 rounds to go in their competition. Box Hill is currently 4th on the ladder.

Tom Warhurst in the U14 Emus Squad representing the Inner Eastern Metropolitan Region at the 2010 State Championships starts play this week.
